Servicing You Better
Houston Allergy & Asthma Associates is committed to providing the most recent and up-to-date approaches to medical care for our patients.
NextGen EMR, a new electronic medical record, was recently implemented at our Woodlands office Town Center and Sterling Ridge.
NextGen is a medical record system that can be custom tailored to support the clinical operations of
medical practices. This system allows providers to document more
accurately the patient's history and plan of care through software
products that scan patient information and physicians' orders and then
transfer the information into the database. This problem-oriented
medical record tracks specific problems and diagnoses, allows the
provider to generate medication orders and prescriptions, screens for
drug interactions, and provides printed plans of care for patients,
including Asthma Action Plans.
Most of our offices are currently utilizing another electronic medical record in the Injection Offices called
Rosch Immunotherapy™. This system provides a patient identification system and allergen immunotherapy record for patients receiving allergy injections. Our patients and staff have been very satisfied with the features of this system.
NextGen will be implemented in our Fannin office within the year.
Practice-wide access to the system is expected over the next couple of years. |
