52 week study

PI: Somerville

·        Ages 2-8

·        A 1 year history of allergic rhinitis; positive skin prick test required

·        Height within the 5^th and 95^th percentiles at enrollment

·        Mild asthma only, that is well controlled

·        Allergy shot patients allowed if on stable dose

·        Must be prepubertal at time of enrollment

·        Placebo controlled

·        Subject compensation = $500

PEDI GROWTH 2

76 week study

PI: Somerville

·        Ages 5 – 7.5 female and ages 5 – 8.5 male

·        Diagnosis of perennial allergic rhinitis for at least 12 months

·        Height within the 3^rd and 97^th percentiles

·        Body weight and BMI between 3^rd and 97^th percentiles

·        Must be pre-pubescent at time of enrollment

·        Subject compensation = $1,050

PEDI ALLERGY 1 

1 month study;

3 visits

PI: Somerville

·        Ages 6 – 11

·        Diagnosis of seasonal allergic rhinitis for at least 2 years

·        Patients with mild intermittent asthma allowed

·        Placebo controlled

·        Subject compensation = $200
